Explore the Piers of Orange County

When you move to OC, you will have access to many piers along the coast of California. I love going to the beach and walking down the pier to watch the sunset, or grabbing dinner with a friend. Which pier will you be visiting?

Seal Beach Pier

Seal Beach Pier during sunset

Located between Long Beach and Huntington Beach, the Seal beach pier offers beautiful views for sunset, dolphins, and seals! All along Main Street you will find shops and restaurants as well. Seal beach is a fun spot for outdoor or water activities such as volleyball, surfing, and paddle boarding.

Balboa Pier

Balboa Pier, Ruby's Diner

The Balboa Pier is one of the piers in Newport Beach. Located at the end of the pier is Ruby's Diner, a well known restaurant chain first opened in 1982. This pier provides beautiful views of the nearby beaches.

Newport Pier

Newport Pier

The second pier in Newport Beach, is the Newport Pier. There is a fresh fish market available called "Dory Fishing Fleet", a very popular fish market among the locals. If you can get in without getting stuck in the lines, I recommend giving this a try!

Huntington Beach Pier

Huntington Beach Pier

One of the longest piers on the West Coast is the Huntington Beach Pier. If you love to walk, this is your go-to pier! You will find Ruby's Diner on this pier as well as gift shops.

Dana Point Pier

Dana Point Pier

The pier at Dana Point is a short one, but you will typically see some people fishing. There are lots of fun activities at Dana Point Harbor such as paddle boarding or going on a boat ride.

San Clemente Pier

San Clemente Pier

Last but not least, the San Clemente Pier. This is probably my personal favorite! It is a great walk with tremendous views and a cute little town with delicious ice cream spots. It is a beautiful spot to admire the amazing Southern California sunset.
